Your Privacy Protection
To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. At COVISION, we do not purposefully gather any personal information about our users unless they are requesting information, providing feedback, purchasing product(s), or subscribing to services.

The Privacy of Children
We do not employ any specific measures to limit the age of persons who use our services and since we do not collect the age of our viewers there is no internal process that we can use to screen out the personal information of children.
Types of Personal Information Collected
Some personal information must be collected in order to provide the services and functions we feel our viewers may desire. All of the information disclosed is voluntary on the part of the user. The exact information collected is always kept to a minimum depending on the needs of the transaction(s) conducted between COVISION and the user.
Consent
At COVISION our customers own their personal information. We will always give our customers the choice of how and when their personally identifiable information that they have provided to us will be used. Our customers will always have the opportunity to opt in or out of any data collection or distribution. This includes their ability to access and delete their information from COVISION's records.
Disclosure
This section will only be applicable once we implemented on-line commercial services: The information that you provide to us when making a purchase or subscribing to a service is transmitted to the holders of our merchant account to process your credit card information and provide authorization. The credit card information is encrypted using 128-Bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology as it is transmitted over the Internet. Both COVISION and our merchant account holders keep your credit card number and expiry date in an encrypted database. This information plus your name, phone number, email and billing address are protected behind secure firewalls. The same is applicable for services without any financial activities.
After one year of non-use, all your credit information is removed from the merchant account holder's primary database and is archived electronically. This archive is not accessible through the Internet. After seven years of non-use, all of your credit information is completely deleted from our merchant account holder's system.
To ensure the efficient handling of support inquiries, upgrades and in some cases download and installation pertaining to products or services that COVISION offers, COVISION provides vendors customer information including name and email address when applicable.
COVISION will never wilfully disclose personally identifiable customer information obtained through this web site to any third party except as stated above and in situations required by applicable law.
Data Collection: Site Stats, Cookies and other Technical Tools
Web Log Files: We use our customers' IP addresses to help diagnose the problems and performance of our servers, and to administrate our Web site. Customers' IP addresses are also used to gather broad demographic information that may, at some time, be shared with COVISION's approved business partners in aggregate form only. Examples might be the distribution of our 'total monthly page views' or our site's 'total number of unique visitors'. This information helps COVISION and its partners to enhance the customers' use of our services and is never used in connection with a customer's personal information without their consent.

'Web Bugs': Our sites, www.COVISION.co.za, http://www.COVISION.net/ and www.COVISION.org do not make use of 'web bugs' in any of our HTML code or email updates.
Cookies: Our sites, www.COVISION.co.za, , www.COVISION.net and www.COVISION.org will only use session cookies in order to fulfillment of the process. Session cookies are non-persistent and do not remain on your computer subsequent to the fulfillment process.

7.1 The process to obtain information in terms of the Access to Information Act is briefly described hereunder. Please refer to the Act for a detailed description of the process.

7.1.4 It is important to note that access is not automatic - you must identify the right you are seeking to exercise or protect and explain why the record you request is required for the exercise or protection of that right. You must follow the prescribed procedure and Covision Life must not have a ground for refusal of the information in terms of the Act.
